Tokyo Tower
昨夜、東京タワーの下を通りかかった。
久々に見上げる夜の東京タワーは、まぶしくて、大きくて、なんだかもう流行遅れ的な感のあったこの建造物が、いやに偉大な、東京を象徴するものに見えて、ちょっと感動した。
六本木ヒルズができようと、ミッドタウンプロジェクトが完成しようと、東京タワーよ、元気でいておくれ。
I walked passed Tokyo Tower last night.
After a while I didn't look up this big old-fashioned tower for ages, it looked great and very symbolic of Tokyo. I was touched somehow.
Roppongi Hills were built. Midtown Project will be done.
But I still would like Tokyo Tower to be there.
そうだ。その下には私の大好きな鵜飼鳥山という料理屋さんが東京に出したというとうふやうかいがありました。行きたい。
By the way, I found under Tokyo Tower, Tohuya Ukai, a sister restaurant of one my favourite Japanese restaurants Ukaitoriyama.

ずーーーーーーーーーーっと前に書いたと思うんだけど。
長らく交流のなかったいとこが、いつの間にかトルコ人と結婚していて、しかも日本でトルコレストランをオープンするというので、これはお祝いにかけつけなきゃ！と、オープニングステージに出演するべく出張してきました＠岡山県。
I mentioned it long time ago.
I have a cousin whom I had almost never met. She got married to a Turkish guy and they were going to open a Turkish restaurant.
Turkish! I have to celebrate!
Therefore, as a nice cousin, I flew to dance for the opening party @ Okayama pref.

私のかわいい小さな甥っ子が、今月２３日にお宮参りに行かれるらしいです。
私の両親は、ばばばか、じじばかを、すっかり発揮して、新しいお召し物をおあつらえになりました。
５カ所に家紋を入れて、計１０万円なり。
本人は絶対に「どーでもいーよー」と思っていると思う。
絶対。
My cute little nephew is going to "Omiyamairi" (the first visit to shrine) on 23rd this month.
My parents who are crazy about their very first grand chile decided to order a kimono for that for him.
Very formal style, 5 family crests on the kimono, costs them 100 thousand yen.
I am sure HE thinks 'I don't care whatever I wear' ...
Too sure.

Crying Girl
昨日のこと。
うつむいてぼおっと電車に乗っていたら、隣に立っていた女の子の足もとに、ぽとり、ぽとりと水滴が。ふと顔をあげると、女の子が泣いていた。
高校の制服を着ていて、黒い髪の毛はセミロング。ひじとひざの内側のアトピーらしい荒れた肌が痛々しい。
手にタオルを持っているのに、涙をふこうとはせず、ただ、うつむいて立っていた。
電車の中で泣いている人を見たのは、いつ以来だろう。
声をかけられないまま、次の駅で電車を降りた。
「大人になったら、笑い話だよ」と、教えてあげたかったけど、今はそうは思えないんだろうなあ、と、思いながら。

I was on train standing alone, looking down, thinking about nothing. Suddenly a few drops of water broke on the floor. I looked up. Found a girl crying.
She was in her highschool uniform, semi-length black hair. She had atopy on inside of the elbows and knees, looking painful.
She had a towel in her hand but didn't even try to wipe tears. Just standing looking down.
When was the last time I saw someone crying on train?
Couldn't say anything but just got off the train at the next station.
I wanted tell her that she would definetely laugh about tonight when she grows up, but I was too sure it wouldn't make her less sad.
