Yukiko is a very genki dncer and also is a hard-worker.

Photoshoot on Valentine's day
2006年のバレンタイン、みなさん、いかがおすごしでしたか？
ヤスミンは…。
写真撮影をしてました。
自分の作品を撮りたい写真家の佐々木さんと、髪の作品を作ってフォリオを作りたいたくみさんと、フライヤーやポスターに使える写真が欲しいダンサーのヤスミンと、３人の利害が一致して決定した撮影会。
だいたい、何週間か前にみんなで日程を決めた時に気づいたんだよね。
やすみん： あ、でもこの日、バレンタインだよー。みんな、ロマンティックディナーとか、予定はないの？大丈夫なの？
佐々木さんとたくみさん（声を揃えて）：何もないです。
やすみん：あ、そう…。（私もだけど）
そういうわけで、撮影してきました。
前日の13日月曜日に、髪を半分くらい仕込んで、当日に仕上げました。
ああ、そうですとも。仕込んだ髪で会社に行きましたともさ。
シルバーのエクステンションを編み込んでいましたが、何か？
Hi. How did you spend the Valentine's day in 2006?
Me? well ... I had a photoshoot.
Sasakisan, a photographer who wants to take his own artworks, and Takumi, hairdresser who wants to have photos of his hair works, and Yasmeen, bellydacer who need some photos to use for flyer/poster got together and made each other happy.
When we decided the shooting date, I realized that it was Valentine's day.
Yasmeen: Oh, did you realize it's Valentine's day. Don't you have romantic dinner or someting??
Sasaki-san and Takumi (immideate reply): NO.
Yasmeen: Well ... hummm....good... (actually me neither)
Therefore we ended up taking photos on the romantic Valentine's day.
My hair had to be prepared one day in advance.
Yes that means I went to work on 14th with my hair half-done with silver extension.
Yes I did. Had no problem at all...
たくみさんの働いている、自由が丘の美容室Hair Matesで、髪の毛をやってもらいました。
Did the hair at Hair Mates in Jiyugaoka where Takumi is working.
下の写真のすみっこに写っているのが、初登場であり、人前に出るのが嫌いな変人佐々木さんです。佐々木さん、おかしいの。本当に人前に出るのが嫌いで、私が“フライヤー作る時は、フォトグラファーの名前キャプションで入れますね”と言ったら、入れる必要なしと断られた。
もう何度か会っているのに、未だに敬語をやめてくださいというと拒否るし。
一緒に食事してくれないし。
モデルは人間ではなくただのオブジェクトだと見事に言い切ってくれるし。
用事がすむと、一秒でも早く帰ろうとするし。
仕方ないので、Sの私とたくみさんはふたりで佐々木さんいじめに徹することにした。
そしたら少し嬉しそうにふるまうようになった。
なんだ、Mなんだ。よかったよかった。
この３人で何かするの、結構楽しいんだよね。
The guy on the right in the photo below is Sasaki-san, the photographer who is a bit strange.
He is funny. When I offered to put his name on my flyer as photographer, he immediately said NO.
I've seen him more than a few time by now but still he uses keigo (polite Japanese) to me and if I ask him to stop it he says NO.
He doesn't want to eat with me.
He insists without hesitation that models are just objects rather than human beings for him. (Do you know I'm modeling for you?)
He always tries to leave as soon as he finishes what he has to do.
Well ... shikata nai. I and Takumi (who are obviously 'S') decided to just make fun on him all the time.
Then finally, he seems more comfortable.
Great!
I really like doing things with 3 of us together :)
で、これが、とれた写真の一部です。
時間が全然足りなくて、やりたいことがちょっとしかできなかった。
また、やりなおします。

ようこちゃんとのセクシーナイト、盛り上がりました。
この日はお友達がたくさん来てくれて、すごく楽しかった。
みんな、本当に本当にどうもありがとう。（あずみちゃん、久しぶりに会えて嬉しかったです。）
そしてSpesial thanksを、逗子からはるばる来てくれたデールとジェロームに。
この二人、DJというバンドとして活動しています。
何年か前に逗子のビーチで踊り狂っていた私と演奏をしていた彼らが知り合い、それからなんとなくメールのやりとりをしてたりしていたんだけど、いつも会うのは逗子のビーチだったので、こうして冬に、しかも屋内で会うととても不思議な感じ！
自由が丘ではふたりで何曲か演奏してくれました。もちろん、私の大好きなBob Marleyも！！やっぱり生演奏はいいねー。楽しかったー。

There were quite many of my friends which made me really happy and relaxed!
Millions of thanks to all my friends who were there to support me!
Special thanks to Dale and Jerome having come all the way from Zushi.
These guys are playing as a band called DJ.
I met them a few years ago on Zushi beach.
I was dancing like crazy and they were playing like crazy on the beach.
Then I started exchanging emails with Dale and his beautiful family but we've seen each other always on Zushi beach in Summer.
So it was a bit strange to see them in Winter and indoor!
They played in Jiyugaoka a few songs including Bob Marley as I requested.
Oh I luuuuuuuv live dancing to live music!! So much fun!

実家の岡山に来ています。
今日は気温がやや低いせいもありますが、心なしか口に入る空気がおいしい気がします。
恒例の、我が家での宴会。
超ごきげんな父は、言いたいことをひとりで雄弁に演説し終わると、少し眠ったら２次会だー、とつぶやいて唐突に眠りにつきました。
目覚めたら朝でしょう。
I'm now in Okayama prefecture where my parents are.
The air seems a bit more tasty than Tokyo but maybe that's because it's cold today. Am not sure.
I've just had an usual family party.
My dad was really happy to see me and he just made a speech about everything he wanted to say.
Then suddenly fell in sleep murmuring 'we're gonna have another party after a nap!'
I know it'll be morning next time he opens his eyes.
今日は倉敷のチボリ公園と美観地区に行ってきました。
思いのほか楽しくてはしゃいでしまいました。
東京に帰ったら詳細をアップします。（時間があれば）
今朝、6時起きだったので、眠い…。

Photo Session
昨日の日曜日、ベリーダンス仲間の睡蓮ちゃんと一緒に、大切な友人であり、アーティストでフォトグラファーでもあるリーバイ君に写真を撮ってもらいました。
彼に頼まれて、はじめて彼のモデルをしたのはもうかれこれ３年近く前でしょうか。
久々に一緒に写真を撮ったら、色々と昔のことを思い出したりして、なかなかなつかしかった。
同じ髪型で、同じものを着て、同じメイクで撮っても、どうしてこうも違うかなあ、と思う。
昨日撮ったものは、まだもらってないので、撮影の合間に私のデジカメで撮ったスナップを少し…。

Every time I do photo session, I'm jusst surprised how different the photos look depending on the photographer despite of the same hair style, same costume and the same make-up.

私の母は“おなかなんか出してると風邪ひくわよ”と言いますが、だって仕方ないじゃん。ベリーダンサーなんだもん。

My mom always says that I'll catch cold if I keep my belly exposured.
But what can I do while I'm bellydancer?
